Last September, I broke up with girlfriend of around 2 years, after what seemed an entire relationship of arguments, fights, and break-ups. Shortly after the relationship ended, I started working on dozens of new projects, to get my mind off things, and to help me through. Out of all of the projects I started, I only finished one completely, and sure enough, it was the first project I'd started after the break-up. The rest of the projects I started still lie somewhere on my hard-drive, untouched, and unfinished. Why? Clearly, I'd lost my inspiration, and this showed not only in my work, but also my social life, things just weren't going to be the same anymore.

Fast forward to now, and I've realised that somewhere along the way during that relationship, I'd forgotten what truly inspired me - Life.

Everyday I'm surrounded by people who generate idea's so big, and so beautiful, that it's hard not to be inspired. During the relationship, that simply wasn't the case, but now, it's slowly started to come back, and now that I'm in what I'd call a "re-newed relationship" with a girl I truly love, I'm being inspired more and more everyday. The Reaktion Project is going to be a showcase of not only my own work, but the work of other designers, musicians, and artists, whose work truly captures your senses. With the domain name registered, and a simple "coming soon" page uploaded, the site needs a lot of work, and I'm scrapping any previous designs of the site, I want something truly original, something I've never considered doing before. I'll be posting regular updates on the sites progress, once I start on the designs, just as soon as the majority of my Uni work is out the way. And speaking of Uni Work, expect to see some new 3D work from my Games Design Coursework around the middle of March.
