Ok, for those of you that don't know, Project Janus is the largest, and possibly, the greatest thing I'll ever do

Since a few people I know have been asking what it's all about, and since I have made significant increases in its content in the past few hours, I have decided to upload a description as to what it is all about

Ever since I was little I've been writing short, and often pointless stories. After several people expressed interest in some of the stories I started writing when I was in my last year of highschool, I decided that after my GCSE's, I would start to write a story that wouldn't be short, or pointless. In fact, up until this point, Project Janus is the only story I have ever planned on writing beyond a few chapters.

The idea for Project Janus came to me after a day of thinking about ideas for the storyline. At first, I had a number of ideas of what the story would be about, but after reading through them all, I realised I was only going to make things hard to believe.
So after a few weeks of planning, I eventually came up with a general storyline, and within a month, it was scrapped, as I started college, and I had little, if no free time on my hands. The only time I worked on Project Janus from then on, was when I had a sudden urge to add some new ideas to my list.
That is generally how Project Janus has got to where it is today. Any random idea's I had, I noted down, and then added them to my list on my computer

"Project Janus" revolves around Brandon Marshall's, a teenager, who after spending 3 years in a coma, awakes to discover his parents are dead, and that he survived the fatal car crash, untouched. When released from hospital, he begins to question why he survived, and the nightmaric images he saw whilst in the coma, come back and haunt him in his dreams.
After finding his father's journal, Brandon discover's his parent's had discovered something ancient, on a expedition several years before he was born. After reading through the journal, Brandon sets up his own expedition, and sets out to uncover the truth behind the ancient artifact. Enlisting the help of his friends, Brandon and his team set out of a worldwide hunt for knowledge, which takes him from the wealthy Cheshire countryside, to the Bahamian Islands.
After visiting temples and shrines around the globe, Brandon uncovers an ancient map, that leads him and his team to a uncharted, unseeable island. When they arrive on the island, the team discover that they have literally stepped into a lost world, and nothing they have trained for, can prepare them for what they find.

When "Project Janus" is finally completed (god knows when that will be), I plan on releasing it in a number of ways
